THE GODS OF THE BIBLE; The Generation of God.

Bidemi Olu-Davies...

Teaching…

The Generation of God… The Gods.

It has been a sort of intrigue to me as I go through  the Scriptures how God manifests in diverse dimensions. After rigorous self study, I discovered that God manifests as a Divine Being with many attributes: when He manifests in Righteousness, He is called Jehovah Tsidkenu (meaning God our Righteousness); as Provider; Jehovah Jireh etc.but this is not what I want to talk about today. In the Authorized King James version of  of the Bible, He manifested in the same diverse ways He always has in my own belief an English perspective of the revelation of the Being, God. Follow me as I take you through an expo of  this Divine Being of the Authorized King James Bible.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 2:3
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it, because that in it he had rested from all his work which he had made.

Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created in the day that the LORD GOD made the earth and the heavens.
From the above three verses of the Hallowed Scriptures, we have seen God as revealed manifesting as God and the LORD GOD.
God creating the earth and the LORD GOD forming or making the earth (from the word, made).

Next! Lets consider Genesis 7:1 when God wants to destroy the earth with a flood.
… and the LORD said unto Noah, come thou, and all thy house into the ark for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Genesis 9:1
And God remembered Noah and every living thing and all the cattle that was with him in the ark and God made a wind to pass over the earth and the water assuaged.
Here, we see the LORD and God manifesting towards the same purpose; the salvation of Noah and his family in the to be destroyed earth.
I would like you to keep in mind the fact that the different elements of the God Head manifests in conjunction with one another and not independently; the Lord God, the Lord and God manifesting individually but not independent of one another fostering the same purpose with a mutual connivance between each of the elements.

Looking at Genesis 14:18-19
And Melchizedek, King of Salem brought forth bread and wine and he was the priest of the most High God. And he blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God the possessor of heaven and earth…
… meaning Melchizedek referred to the element of the God Head of which he is the Priest; the most High God.
In essence, God created the heaven and the earth, the Lord God made the heaven and the earth, the Lord destroyed it with a flood upon seeing the wickedness of man and the most High God is the Possessor of the heaven and the earth. Four manifestations of the elements of the God Head functioning in harmony with the Divine will in the Old Testament!

Let’s now look at the manifestations of the elements of the God Head in the New Testament.

Revelations 4:2-5
And immediately, I was in the Spirit and behold a throne was set in heaven and one sat on the throne.
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone; and there was a rainbow round about the throne in sight like unto an emerald.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting clothed in white raiment and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne which are the seven spirits of God.

Revelations 6:1-2
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder and one of the four beasts saying, come and see.
And I saw, and behold a white horse and he that sat on him had a bow and a crown given unto him; and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

Revelations 19:11,12,15 & 16
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and treadeth the winepress of the fierceness  and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The elements of the God Head manifested in three dimensions in the New Testament in the Book of Revelations as:
1.     The one seated on the throne surrounded by the twenty-four elders
2.     The rider upon the white horse of the first seal
3.     The rider upon the white horse- the Word of God

PROPHECY (Revelations 10:7, Revelations 22:13)

… Amen! But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished as he hath declared to his servants the prophets… Even so… Amen! I am Alpha and Omega.

A Word about the Lamb…

The Lamb of God slain since the foundation of the world is not Jesus the Christ as erroneously believed in christian circles! But the offering of Abel to God of a sweet smelling savour accepted of The  Father, a firstling of his flock and of the fat thereof. Amen. Worthy is the Lamb, no wonder the LORD had respect unto Abel and his offering. Abel as a type of Christ here.
Amen.

Revelations  5
And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it has been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth… (read to the end of chapter)

Read Genesis 4: 4.

The Word of God says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end the first and the last” meaning, God manifested in all the elements of Divinity, maintaining His Divine attributes in all the elements unchangeably.

This reminds me of the law of conservation of energy, “energy cannot be created nor destroyed but can be converted from one form to the other in the course of a reaction”

God manifesting in Seven dimensions with His Power and Divine attributes intact and unchangeable. The Immortal God! Amen!

The seven manifestations of God in the entire Scriptures talks about the Generations of God as seen in the Book of Isiaiah 11:1-3 manifest as the seven spirits of God. See Revelations 5:6.

Isiaiah 11:1-3
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, a branch shall grow out of his roots. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, spirit of wisdom and understanding, spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord…

See
1.     GOD; Genesis 1:1 – Spirit of the Lord
2.     The Lord God; Genesis 7:1 – Spirit of Wisdom
3.     The Lord; Genesis 7:1 Spirit of Understanding
4.     The Most High God; Genesis 14: 18-19 – Spirit of counsel
5.     The One seated on the Throne; Rev.4:2-5 Spirit of Might
6.     The Rider upon the white horse of the 1st seal; Rev.6:1-2 Spirit of Knowledge
7.     The rider upon the horse The Word of God; Rev. 19:11-16 Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

Revelations 4:5
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Zechariah 3:9
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes; behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts and I will remove the iniquity of the land in one day.

Zechariah 4:10
For who hath despised the day of small beginings? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubabbel with these seven; they are the eyes of the LORD , which run to and fro through the whole earth. AMEN!

LOVE IS...

Bidemi Olu-Davies talking about Love in…

LOVE IS…

Everyone knows that love is good and that it’s good to love but what or who is love? Is love a person or a feeling? These and others is what I want to shed more light on in this article, be blessed as you read. Amen.
The King James Bible says God is love and love is of God… have this at the back of your mind dear reader that a simple definition of “good” is “like God”. So I posit, if love is a person how do I love? Love is not definable outside of the person, Love? Looking at 1Corinthians 13, I discovered the following:
Prophesy does not define love
Understanding mysteries does not define love neither does knowledge and faith
Benevolence does not define love neither does self sacrifice.
But, love is defined by the following attributes:
Love suffereth long… the ability to suffer (go through privations) for a very long time without complaining
Love is kind
Love envieth not, vaunteth not itself and is not puffed up
Love does not conduct itself in a manner that is unseemly, seeketh not “her” own
Love is not easily provoked
Love thinketh no evil
Love rejoiceth not in iniquity but in truth
Love beareth all things
Love believeth all things
Love hopes in all situations
Love endureth all things (situations)
The above are the attributes of the person called love, the Person God.
The Bible exhorts us to put on love which is the bond of perfectness.

How do we love? Or what is expected of a person “in love”?

All these elements described above are what perfect love entails and are the attributes in a life that can be said to be in love… it all takes a conscious effort to be loving.
I pray the Lord God Almighty help us to love and be loving as we allow His Holy Spirit to envelop us as we “put on love”.
The Bible says Love never fails, the reason believers end up as failures in life – failing God and themselves is because they lack the spirit of love.
I pray for you, you shall not end up a failure in life and destiny as you walk in love by God’s Grace. Amen!

Shalom!

Demystifying Cesare Borgia! The Person of The Christ.

                              Bidemi Olu-Davies
                                  talkin’ ‘bout:

 The Person of “Christ”…

Matthew 10:21

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord  of heaven  and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, rather; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 22. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. Amen!

Have you ever thought about this? The Person of Jesus Christ! Is He a Person or just a fiction or is He Personified in Cesare Borgia (some say he is “jesus christ” reincarnated) or the rather; is He a Paradigm? The purpose of this writing is to shed light on these and other grey areas of the scriptures by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

I must tell you today folks! The Lord Jesus is known only by those to whom he chooses to reveal Himself to according to the scriptures. I bless God I am one of such privileged ones on the surface of the earth today!
Jesus is not a "Person" per say, neither is reincarnated in any form but a functional Model of Divine Sonship as Personified in the Authorised King James version of the scripture (the Person of the Author of the scriptures), that many may be brought to the exalted level of sonship with the Divine Being; God… the First born among many brethren!

The name or term Jesus Christ is the author of the KJV’s way of conveying the Divine Message of the scriptures through a functional Model to which the individual can relate with as a matter of fact. The term of reference of this Model Jesus Christ is derived from the French expression “je’ suis christo” literally interpreted as “I am (a) king” implying that Jesus Christ is but a pseudonym referring to the Author’s functional Model of  reference; hence Jesus Christ is a functional Model Paradigm Personality; the Son of God Personified in His teachings (the Word made flesh) that many through these Words  and Teachings may come to the level of sonship with the Divine Being because the Word (His teachings) has the power to transform and translate man into the Divine Model; the Image of “Christ”.

I don’t believe in Christianity so called; it is a fabrication of the council of Nicea later known as the Vatican and Christ’s “death” on a “cross” as enunciated in the KJV is a spiritual anecdote.

AT THE CROSS OF CALVARY

Read Psalms 22 (Emphasis: vs 1), 31 (Emphasis vs 5)

The Words the Christ used on “the cross at Calvary” are words of the Psalms written by the patriarch David. David being an embodiment of Divine Sonship himself and the Christ being an offspring of David has to go through what I’d call the birth test which every true son must go through to confirm his roots. This has spiritual dimensions and may it please you to note that the saying “like Father; like Son” holds true here: a spiritual suffering necessary for his chastening. The writer of the King James Bible went through these sufferings and according to the Wisdom available to man at that time is rendered in the verses of the scriptures for the benefit of the believer. The Bible says Christ was afflicted of God not man or the Jews his captors at the time of his sufferings like all of the sufferings of the saints as depicted in the scriptures… I’m going through mine, I must tell you! The Bible says no chastening of the present seemeth to be joyous…

Read Hebrews 12.

It is a spiritual affliction written in a physical model for the reader to appreciate the purpose of suffering (chastening) in the redemption of man. The Christ did not “die” on the “cross” for my sins or yours but an example for you and me of what we are to go through for the redemption of our soul to reach a state of spiritual perfection… the captain of our salvation was made perfect through suffering (a state the Buddhists refer to as the Nirvana). Please note that the torments are spiritual and not physical but painted in a physical picture as depicting the writer on the cross physically with all the torments so called.
Every believer in God must pass through these experiences to Nirvana
Which are as enumerated below:

1. A sense or feeling or burden of a lost world or race

2. A burden that you are the God brought solution to the problem of a lost race or the lost humanity.

3. The attendant blessing of followership among men who believe in you and your “God sent” solutions.

Then:

4. The pain of betrayal in the ranks of your followership.

5. The trial of afflictions of the rulers of the world and the powers of darkness

6. Death to self or on “the cross”; this may cause physical death in some individuals.

7. A glorious resurrection into a perfected spiritual state or Nirvana.

A word about resurrection...

Resurrection can be of 2 kinds either physical resurrection (as exemplified in Christ on the third day) or a spiritual resurrection where enlightened ones would be able to speak with, feel and “see” the spirit of the resurrected one. See Matthew 27 vs 50 – 53 emphasis on verses 52 and 53.
King James passed through all these in a spiritual sense and wrote them in so palpable a manner as to be real to the reader. The Christ of the King James Bible is King James himself! King James “died” and is alive for evermore! Amen!
Angels took King James body to Heaven in a glorious trump in a state of Spiritual Perfection expected of every believer in the King James Bible.
I’m going through my chastening onto a perfect spiritual state, you have to go through yours if it’s your desire to be a partaker of this glorious spiritual state, for life… in the words of a speaker… is but a dressing room for eternity!

Luke 24:44-48

And said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
And said unto them, Thus it is written and thus it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that the repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are witnesses of these things.

SHALOM!

FORGIVENESS.

Rev. Olu-Davies Preachin’

                                   FORGIVENESS.

FREE YOURSELF FROM ALL DARKNESS! HE WHO MAKES NO EFFORT TO GRASP THE WORD OF THE LORD ARIGHT BURDENS HIMSELF WITH GUILT!
                                              -Abd-ru-shin@the Grail Message

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14,15.
Amen!

Forgive and forgive! That’s the maxim repeated over and over by religious zealots! But I want to tell you dear reader that no matter what anybody says, how easy or difficult it is or feels to forgive, God is our perfect example when it comes to forgiveness. The perfect master, the Lord Christ Jesus speaking along these lines said, “if you refuse to forgive your brother his trespasses, your heavenly father will not forgive you also your trespasses”.(Paraphrased.)
But I pose this question to you, will God forgive an unrepentant sinner? Or should one forgive an erring one who has not shown remorse, repented or apologized for the wrong done? My personal take is this,”God will never (being the embodiment of  divine justice) forgive an unrepentant sinner! To secure forgiveness for whatever error or misdemeanor, you must take along in your hands Repentance; no wonder the Bible says,”bring forth fruits meant for repentance. Alright? Let’s quickly analyse the story of the prodigal son as I buttress the above assertions.

Luke 15:11-32

And he said, A certain man had two sons: and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me, And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together , and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, “how many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring in his hand; and shoes on his feet: and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat and be merry: for this,my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

I want you guyz to note the following on the above story from the Dake’s annotated reference Bible:
-
Making a decision to repent is not enough. One must truly repent- being genuine in acts, words, and deeds- to be honored of God or man.

You see?! Repentance is the only key to receive forgiveness from God or man! The prodigal son through genuine repentance reasoned his way to glory, favour and honor!
Shalom!

STRANGE FIRE!

Rev. Olu-Davies Preachin’…

                  STRANGE FIRE!
Bible reference: Numbers 16
Amen!
Leadership positions either in church or outside church commands a certain level of authority, pomp, perks and pageantry that makes it the desire of all and sundry even if by questionable means.
This assertion holds true both in the secular or religious settings in contemporary times ….but brethren!..., there is a price to pay before one can be trusted with a leadership of whatever sort either in the church or secular settings and in God’s economy “no man taketh this honor to himself but to them that it’s given of God”. Trying to attain to leadership positions through rebellion and other dubious means in the church and elsewhere is offering strange fire! I make bold to say; without the requisite calling, anointing and unction the sacrifices of these self appointed leaders is despicable to God and incurs His wrath.
Looking at the rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram and the two hundred and fifty censer bearing false prophets, one would clearly see that they coveted the priestly office of Moses and Aaron. Korah, Dathan  and Abiram were the descendants of Reuben, who being the first born; Moses thought to include them in office of the Priests and to be partakers of the priestly ministry… this in itself is not bad? … huh? But they were moved by envy! En’ by all standards, envy is not a fruit of the Spirit?!... lol!
The ground clave under the rebellious Korah, Dathan and Abiram and they were buried alive while fire came from God’s presence and destroyed the two hundred and fifty  censer bearing false prophets.
I pray your heart be enlightened as God grants you understanding.
Shalom!

New strength for each new day.

NEW STRENGTH FOR EACH NEW DAY.

bread to give him strength, wine to gladden his heart and oil to make his face shine… - The Holy Bible.

Give us this day, our daily bread – Matthew 6 vs 11.

As each day unfolds bringing along its own blessings and challenges, we struggle against inertia on our way to fulfilling destiny. There is a provision for strength for each new day.
This is real in my experience each passing moment of my life as the days turns to weeks, months and years which has caused a revelation of the Lord’s Prayer to well up in my consciousness… Give us this day, our daily bread … with such a profundity that amazes me as I go through life’s struggles. Bread is a source of strength as the scriptures reveals… yesterday’s bread is spent, yesterday’s strength is stale so I need new bread, a new unction, a new strength for today… a new anointing for this new day!
Each new day; folks! We need to ask for fresh bread to supply us with new strength for the day.
The Word of God is the bread of life! Hallelujah! Each blessed morning I turn through the pages of the scripture to find new hope, new strength from its sacred pages to help me face the challenges of the day.
As I go on my knees every blessed morning and pray the Lord’s Prayer, I equally add these words in prayer:

"Lord, I’m beginning this new day with you like never before,
Bring me up on the wings of the spirit unto higher grounds,
Give me a fresh unction, a fresh anointing, a fresh hope for this new day,
And renewed grace to cope with the challenges of today",

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Shalom. God’s Peace!

Facing tough times and coping with the pressures of life

Facing tough times and coping with the pressures of life
Patience is the necessary ingredient for genius.
                                                                -The Speakers’ quote book

12.And on the morrow when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry;13. and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:12-14.

Sometimes in life, we find ourselves at cross roads where we tend to want to throw in the towel; exhausted, spent, busted and disgusted about life. A time when the daily grind becomes irritating and we become irritable as well. My charge is, “hold on tight and don’t snapp!”
The event in the quoted text happened at the tail end of Jesus’ ministry; precisely a day after the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Three years of trekking the streets of Palestine in the hot desert sun, fagged out and spent... and He knows his time was up!
After feeding the hypocritical multitudes that thronged him daily not for his words or teachings but for the loaves and pieces of fish he gives them for lunch! (Not in any way different from the multitudes that throng the church today. lol!), his patience has been worn to the bones, tasked beyond measure. He was about to snap and he did; cursing the innocent fig tree “for it’s not the time of figs”.
The disciples were not left out either, James and John wanted him to cause fire to fall and devour the Samaritans who rejected him entry into their town! See Luke9vs51-54
If these can happen to the Jesus and his disciples of those days how much more we the disciples of today? No one is exempt from feelings of frustration and exhaustion like the Lord and his disciples of those days experienced for he was 100% man!
We live in a fast tracked world, fast foods and even faster automobiles etc. Once described as the jet age; I’d like to posit; the problems of this age stems from impatience. The Lord lost his patience at the fig tree during a moment of hunger! For I want to believe the Lord could have caused the tree to bring forth fruits if he wills just as Aaron’s rod was caused to blossom and bring forth almonds (an old testament story). See Numbers 17vs1-8.
The Lord snapped! So can you! In His own words “The disciple can only be as the master” but he said “greater things” shall we do; we have the privilege of managing our emotions effectively at such a time as this and what we need is more patience.

The Lord Jesus used his impatience at the fig tree to teach the Apostle Peter the lesson of faith (Mark11:20-23). But there is only one rule to the game when the ride becomes rough--- more and more patience; for patience is the necessary ingredient for genius.

Romans 5vs3-5
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulations worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope; And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Shalom.
